Below is an example case of a user logging into the ROAM application and making use of a few of the provided features. User logs in on the visually customizable login web page The first screen after logging in shows a list of the monitored assets. The user notices that asset T10101 has two active alarms and clicks on the right side map link icon to view the assets current position. The current position display shows the asset in alarm (red) mode near the city of Ad Dammam in Saudi Arabia. A mouseover tooltip shows that the displayed alarm is a GeoFence alarm. The user moves onto the asset detail history display to get a clearer picture of the units movements prior to the alarm. Viewing the history for the past 24 hours, the user can see that the vehicle has made a trip to a depot in the south but on its return journey exited the defined and geofenced corridor. The user moves into the alarms page for the asset. In the Alarms list the user Acklowledges the alarm. This stops the system from sending out email and SMS alerts or escalating the alarm to a higher level. In the commands page the user types a message requesting the driver of the vehicle to contact the operations center and inform of their status. After getting acknowledgement from the driver and resolving the situation, the user can return to the Alarms list and reset the alarm. This allows the system to accept and act on any new alarms that are received.
